The Spoilt Dog has been providing its moto of 'Only the best for your best friend' in Highgate since 2004 and now at their Prospect salon since 2015. Its is family owned business owned by mother daughter team Chris and Elisa. Chris is the daughter of free range poultry farmers raised with dogs and rescuing cats in her youth. Elisa has been involved in fauna rescue in her teens and has been brought up with animals of all sizes from birth and also completing certificate of animal care through TAFE. They are currently owned by Rico (12yo golden retriever), Isabella (11yo standard poodle), Claudius (2yo standard poodle ) and recently Sully (1 yo toy poodle).
Elisa is also a mother to 2 little girls Victoria and Elizabeth who sometimes help at the Prospect salon. Elisa frequently is involved in grooming competitions and seminars interstate and here in SA and regularly hosts seminars at Prospect. She is one of SAs most highly awarded groomers. As of 1st May 2018 The Spoilt Dog Highgate is under new ownership and now trades as Purple Pooch Dog Grooming. |
